Running back T.J. Yeldon commits to Auburn with a competitive drive
The No. 1 running back in Alabama committed to the Tigers, saying he'll be a member of their 2012 signing class. He chose Auburn over Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Florida State and Oregon, among others; and heads into his senior season rated the No. 5 running back in the country by Rivals and the No. 2 all-purpose back in the nation by 247 Sports and the top running back in the state by Scout. Yeldon is Auburn's ninth commitment for the 2012 signing class. The Tigers could add another high-profile commitment today in wide receiver Jaquay Williams of Tyrone, Ga. He'll make his intentions known at 3 p.m., Auburn time. He's choosing between the Tigers, Alabama, Ohio State, LSU and Florida. He's a four-star player, according to the recruiting websites.
Jaquay Williams is down to two ... Auburn and Ohio State. Georgia fans are going nuts over two things: 1) he's obviously no good if Richt didn't offer a scholarship or 2) he's obviously too dumb to make it into college.
I guess the 4 stars speak to the first issue and the fact that schools like Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech offered him speak to the second one.
Come home to the Plains, Jaquay!
Jaquay Williams, you have to make the most important decision of your life today. Whether to choose the Alabama or Auburn where you are given the opportunity to play with the Champions and gain so many skills from the best Coaching team in America and then go on to the Pro’s when you finish learning. You will also be a member of the Family and always be an Auburn Man, where ever you go, there will be someone there to yell War Eagle! Come to the bright and best side, we will always appreciate you, WDE!
